This mixed media version of the oyster schooner A.J. Meerwald is possibly my new, favorite way to make art, It combines my love for all things vintage using a reclaimed type-set drawer and then layered with a nautical map, paint, pencil and duralar. New Jersey’s tall ship, the A.J. Meerwald is based out of historic Bilvalve, New Jersey, not far from where I make my creations:)
